ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਭੂਮਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਰਸ ਖੇਲ ਕਰੈ ਕਰ ਡਾਰ ਗਰੈ ॥
hit so brij bhoom bikhai sabh hee ras khel karai kar ddaar garai |
ਤੁਮ ਕੋ ਜੋਊ ਸੋਕ ਬਢਿਯੋ ਬਿਛੁਰੇ ਹਮ ਸੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਅਬ ਸੋਕ ਹਰੈ ॥੫੧੩॥
tum ko joaoo sok badtiyo bichhure ham so mil kai ab sok harai |513|
They are all playing with their hands on the necks of one another and Krishna is saying, “The sorrow that you experienced in my absence, come, let us now remove that grief, holding ourselves in unison.513.
ਐਹੋ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਕਹਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਸਭੈ ਤੁਮ ਰਾਸ ਕੋ ਖੇਲ ਕਰੋ ॥
aiho treeyaa keh sree jadubeer sabhai tum raas ko khel karo |
ਗਹਿ ਕੈ ਕਰ ਸੋ ਕਰੁ ਮੰਡਲ ਕੈ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਲਾਜ ਧਰੋ ॥
geh kai kar so kar manddal kai na kachhoo man bheetar laaj dharo |
The woman said, “O hero of the Yadvas! When you are absorbed in an amorous play, then you do not feel even an iota of shyness in holding the hand of others in your hand in this assemblage
ਹਮਹੂੰ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਰਾਸ ਕਰੈ ਨਚਿ ਹੈ ਨਚਿਯੋ ਨਹ ਨੈਕੁ ਡਰੋ ॥
hamahoon tumare sang raas karai nach hai nachiyo neh naik ddaro |
We also play and dance with you fearlessly
ਸਭ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਬੀਚ ਅਸੋਕ ਕਰੋ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਸੋਕਨ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਹਰੋ ॥੫੧੪॥
sabh hee man beech asok karo at hee man sokan ko su haro |514|
Kindly remove our anguish and make our minds griefless.”514.
ਤਿਨ ਸੋ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕਹੀ ਫਿਰ ਯੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਹਮਰੀ ਬਿਨਤੀ ਸੁਨਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
tin so bhagavaan kahee fir yo sajanee hamaree binatee sun leejai |
ਆਨੰਦ ਬੀਚ ਕਰੋ ਮਨ ਕੇ ਜਿਹ ਤੇ ਹਮਰੇ ਤਨ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਜੀਜੈ ॥
aanand beech karo man ke jih te hamare tan ko man jeejai |
Then Lord Krishna said to those women, “O dear ones! Listen to my request and be of good cheer in your mind, so that you may remain attached with my body
ਮਿਤਵਾ ਜਿਹ ਤੇ ਹਿਤ ਮਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਉਠ ਕੈ ਸੋਊ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
mitavaa jih te hit maanat hai tab hee utth kai soaoo kaaraj keejai |
“O friends! you may do the same whatever pleases you mind and is in your welfare
ਦੈ ਰਸ ਕੋ ਸਿਰਪਾਵ ਤਿਸੈ ਮਨ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਸੋਕ ਬਿਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੫੧੫॥
dai ras ko sirapaav tisai man ko sabh sok bidaa kar deejai |515|
Remove all your sorrows by submerging yourselves in amorous enjoyment from head to feet.”515.
ਹਸਿ ਕੈ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕਹੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਯੌ ਰਸ ਕੀ ਬਤੀਯਾ ਹਮ ਤੇ ਸੁਨ ਲਈਯੈ ॥
has kai bhagavaan kahee fir yau ras kee bateeyaa ham te sun leeyai |
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਲੀਏ ਮਿਤਵਾ ਹਿਤ ਮਾਨਤ ਸੋ ਸੁਨ ਕੈ ਉਠਿ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਈਯੈ ॥
jaa kai lee mitavaa hit maanat so sun kai utth kaaraj keeyai |
Lord Krishna said again smilingly, “Listen to my talk about pleasure and O friends! do whatever you liks
ਗੋਪਿਨ ਸਾਥ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਮੁਸਲੀਧਰ ਭਈਯੈ ॥
gopin saath kripaa kar kai kab sayaam kahiyo musaleedhar bheeyai |
ਜਾ ਸੰਗ ਹੇਤ ਮਹਾ ਕਰੀਯੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਦਾਮਨ ਤਾ ਹੀ ਕੇ ਹਾਥਿ ਬਿਕਈਯੈ ॥੫੧੬॥
jaa sang het mahaa kareeyai bin daaman taa hee ke haath bikeeyai |516|
Krishna said again to gopis and also his brother Balram, “With whomsoever one may fall in love, he surrenders totally to him without any selfish motive.”516.
ਕਾਨਰ ਕੀ ਸੁਨ ਕੈ ਬਤੀਆ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਤਿਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਧੀਰ ਗਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
kaanar kee sun kai bateea man mai tin gvaarin dheer gahiyo hai |
ਦੋਖ ਜਿਤੋ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਥੋ ਰਸ ਪਾਵਕ ਮੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਤੁਲਿ ਦਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
dokh jito man bheetar tho ras paavak mo trin tul dahiyo hai |
Hearing the words of Krishna, the gopis felt courageous and in their mind, the straws of sufferings were burnt and destroyed by fire of amorous pleasure
ਰਾਸ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਜਸੁਧਾ ਸੁਤ ਕੋ ਤਿਨ ਮਾਨਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
raas kariyo sabh hee mil kai jasudhaa sut ko tin maan kahiyo hai |
ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਗਨ ਅਉ ਨਭ ਮੰਡਲ ਰੀਝ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥੫੧੭॥
reejh rahee prithamee prithamee gan aau nabh manddal reejh rahiyo hai |517|
Yashoda also said to all, “Get together for amorous play and seeing this the dwellers of the earth and the heavenly sphere are getting pleased.517.
ਗਾਵਤ ਏਕ ਬਜਾਵਤ ਤਾਲ ਸਭੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਰਿ ਮਹਾ ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ॥
gaavat ek bajaavat taal sabhai brij naar mahaa hit so |
ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕੋ ਮਾਨਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਚਿਤ ਸੋ ॥
bhagavaan ko maan kahiyo tab hee kab sayaam kahai at hee chit so |
All the women of Braja are singing and playing on instruments and in their mind they are proud of Krishna
ਇਨ ਸੀਖ ਲਈ ਗਤਿ ਗਾਮਨ ਤੇ ਸੁਰ ਭਾਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਧੋ ਕਿਤ ਸੋ ॥
ein seekh lee gat gaaman te sur bhaaman te ki kidho kit so |
Looking at their gait, it seems that they have learnt it from the elephants and the wives of gods
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਇਹੈ ਸਮਝਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਪਰੈ ਜਿਹ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਸਿਖੇ ਇਨ ਹੂੰ ਤਿਤ ਸੋ ॥੫੧੮॥
ab mohi ihai samajhiyo su parai jih kaanrah sikhe in hoon tith so |518|
The poet says, that it seems to his that they have learnt all this from Krishna.518.
ਮੋਰ ਕੋ ਪੰਖ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ਸੀਸ ਸੁ ਰਾਜਤ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਕਾਨਨ ਦੋਊ ॥
mor ko pankh biraajat sees su raajat kunddal kaanan doaoo |
The peocock feather on his head and rings in the ears look splendid
ਲਾਲ ਕੀ ਮਾਲ ਸੁ ਛਾਜਤ ਕੰਠਹਿ ਤਾ ਉਪਮਾ ਸਮ ਹੈ ਨਹਿ ਕੋਊ ॥
laal kee maal su chhaajat kanttheh taa upamaa sam hai neh koaoo |
There is a rosary of gems around his neck, which cannot be compared with anything
