Ses, Jales, Sures, and all the gods he brought to live in his realm.
ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਲ ਲਖਿ ਰੀਝਿਯੋ ਅਸੁਰ ਨਿਦਾਨ ॥੭॥
mahaa rudr kee baal lakh reejhiyo asur nidaan |7|
And that the Devil was enticed by the woman of Ruder and seeing her felt elated.(7)

He was so much fascinated seeing her that he sent a wise emissary to her.

ਨਾਤਰ ਮੀਚ ਮੂੰਡ ਪਰ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੮॥

‘The daughters and sisters are given away according to the tradition of Vedas.
ਅਬ ਲੌ ਕਿਸੂੰ ਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਦਈ ਸੁਨੁ ਅਸੁਰਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਇ ॥੯॥
ab lau kisoon na triy dee sun asuran ke raae |9|
‘But, listen, no body till today has give away his wife.’(9)

With the backing of a large number of the army of the devils, he came furious.
ਸੁੰਭ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਤਬ ਹੀ ॥
sunbh nisunbh bulaae tab hee |
ਰਕਤ ਬੀਜ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾਛਨ ਸਭ ਹੀ ॥੧੦॥
rakat beej jvaalaachhan sabh hee |10|
He called in Sunbh and NiSunbh (devils) and collected all the ones full of wrath.(10)

ਉਠੇ ਬਾਧਿ ਬਾਨਾਨ ਬਾਕੇ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
autthe baadh baanaan baake biraajai |
Fully equipped with arrows, they were blaring.
ਲਏ ਸੂਲ ਸੈਥੀਨ ਆਛੇ ਸੁਹਾਵੈ ॥
le sool saitheen aachhe suhaavai |
ਬਿਯੋ ਕੌਨ ਜੋਧਾ ਜੋ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਦਬਾਵੈ ॥੧੧॥
biyo kauan jodhaa jo taa ko dabaavai |11|
They were laced with spears and tridents, and, consequently who could dare to fight.(11)
ਇਤੈ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੋਪਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਡੌਰੂ ਬਜਾਯੋ ॥
eitai rudr kopiyo su ddauaroo bajaayo |
ਉਤੈ ਬਾਧ ਗਾੜੀ ਅਨੀ ਇੰਦਰ ਆਯੋ ॥
autai baadh gaarree anee indar aayo |
On this side, Ruder became very angry, beat the drum and Indra arrived with his army.
ਲਏ ਸੂਰ ਸਾਥੀ ਘਨੀ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਆਛੇ ॥
le soor saathee ghanee chandr aachhe |
ਸਭੈ ਸੂਲ ਸੈਥੀ ਲਏ ਕਾਛ ਕਾਛੇ ॥੧੨॥
sabhai sool saithee le kaachh kaachhe |12|
Also came Chandra along with his compatriots, all holding spears and tridents.(12)
ਹਠੀ ਕੋਪ ਕੈ ਕੈ ਮਹਾ ਦੈਤ ਢੂਕੇ ॥
hatthee kop kai kai mahaa dait dtooke |
ਚਲੇ ਭਾਤਿ ਐਸੀ ਸੁ ਮਾਨੋ ਭਭੂਕੇ ॥
chale bhaat aisee su maano bhabhooke |
ਗ੍ਰੁਜੈ ਹਾਥ ਲੀਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਜੇ ਬੀਰ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
grujai haath leene graje beer bhaare |
ਟਰੈ ਨਾਹਿ ਟਾਰੇ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਤ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੧੩॥

ਲਏ ਬਿਸਨ ਜੋਧਾ ਸੁ ਐਸ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
le bisan jodhaa su ais biraajai |
ਲਖੇ ਦੇਵ ਕੰਨ੍ਯਾਨ ਕੋ ਦਰਪੁ ਭਾਜੈ ॥੧੪॥
lakhe dev kanayaan ko darap bhaajai |14|
ਇਤੈ ਦੈਤ ਬਾਕੇ ਉਤੇ ਦੇਵ ਸੋਹੈਂ ॥
eitai dait baake ute dev sohain |
ਦਿਤ੍ਰਯਾਦਿਤ ਜੂ ਜਾਨ ਕੋ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੈਂ ॥
ditrayaadit joo jaan ko maan mohain |
ਬਜੈ ਸਾਰ ਗਾੜੋ ਨਹੀ ਭਾਜ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
bajai saar gaarro nahee bhaaj jaavai |
ਦੁਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਤੇ ਖਿੰਗ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਨਚਾਵੈ ॥੧੫॥
duhoon or te khing khatree nachaavai |15|
ਪਰਿਯੋ ਲੋਹ ਗਾੜੋ ਤਹਾ ਭਾਤਿ ਐਸੀ ॥
pariyo loh gaarro tahaa bhaat aisee |
ਮਨੋ ਕ੍ਵਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਘ ਕੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਜੈਸੀ ॥
mano kvaar ke megh kee brisatt jaisee |
One the one hand there were the stalwart devils, and the other the gods and their progeny was getting honours.
ਹਠਿਯੋ ਹਾਥ ਮੈ ਸੂਲ ਕੋ ਸੂਲ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
hatthiyo haath mai sool ko sool lai kai |
ਤਿਸੀ ਛੇਤ੍ਰ ਛਤ੍ਰੀਨ ਕੋ ਛਿਪ੍ਰ ਛੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੬॥
tisee chhetr chhatreen ko chhipr chhai kai |16|
The steel started to strike steel and to make sure no one ran away, the Kashatris rounded from all sides.(16)

ਕਿਸੀ ਕਾਜ ਜੋ ਥੋ ਨ ਸੋਊ ਪਧਾਰੋ ॥
kisee kaaj jo tho na soaoo padhaaro |
ਲਰੇ ਬਾਲ ਔ ਬ੍ਰਿਧ ਜੂ ਆ ਰਿਸੈ ਕੈ ॥
lare baal aau bridh joo aa risai kai |
ਗਏ ਪਾਕ ਸਾਹੀਦ ਯਾਕੀਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੭॥
